Seed Coating: MP-4D
WHAT IS MP-4D?
MP-4D seed coating provides microbial technology to generate an optimum start for seeds. MP-4D has the ability to digest the husk of the seed to allow faster germination and a higher percentage of emergence MP-4D Seed Coating provides multi minerals and moisture next to the seed to provide a quick healthy start for new plants.
MP-4D Seed Coating contains microbial seed inoculants which increase germination and improves yields by initiating balanced microbial activity in the immediate root zone. MP-4D combines microbes and a starch based super absorbent polymer to form a microbial and moisture shield around seeds that promote germination and ward off harmful diseases and fungus while accelerating propagation. With MP-4D Seed Coating, rigorous root development is established which lasts the entire live span of the plant.
MP-4D is easy to apply by the seed company or by the grower.
Seed Coating Directions
For rough-hulled seeds, apply 2 oz. of MP-4D per 100 lbs of seed. MP-4D is applied after tilling with a seed hopper or applicator and stirred with a paddle to ensure good coverage. The MP-4D may he applied at the same rate in a cement mixer for larger volume of seed.
For smooth-hulled seeds, add 2 oz. of MP-4D per gallon of water to make a spray solution. Spray the solution at one gallon (2 oz* of MP-4D) per 100 pounds of seed. Spray the solution on the seed while tumbling or stirring the seed. Air-dry the seed immediately after applying the solution and before seeding.
CAUTION: Do not coat seed with chemicals, including chemical fertilizers as this may deter the action of the MP-4D.
