MP-5 Concentrated Microbial Polymer

MP-5 is a concentrated blend of minerals, microbes and a water retaining polymer that:

  • PROVIDES A COMMERCIAL MEANS OF ORGANIC FARMING
  • INCREASES YIELD IMPROVES PEST RESISTANCE
  • INCREASES ORGANIC MATERIAL IN SOIL
  • IMPROVES FLAVOR OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
  • IMPROVES STORAGE LIFE OF CROP
  • DECREASES FERTILIZER REQUIREMENTS BY 20% to 50%

Crop production has been pushed to the limit with little regards to the effects that fertilizers and pesticides have on the soil. A decreased level of microbes in the soil results in weaker plants that produce less than their full potential and that are more prone to disease and damage by insects. For optimum production, these beneficial bacteria that assist in the absorption of minerals and fertilizers must be present in the soil. If the soil is depleted of these vital microbes, it is wise to replenish them. Otherwise, production and profit suffers greatly.

MP 5 is a balanced blend of microbes designed to enhance the reproduction of native microbes to restore your soil’s vital health. MP 5 contains AG SORB, which is a super absorbent water retaining polymer which provides moisture to the plants as needed.

MP 5 should be Incorporated into the soil in one of the following methods:
For ROW CROPS: Use a pesticide applicator as built into many planters or a gandy applicator. Apply
4 pounds of MP 5 to the acre to the seeded area. For best results, the MP 5 should be dispersed approximately 1 inch below the seed.

If an applicator is not available:

Add 4 lbs. MP 5 to 55 to 75 gallons of water (a thin watery soup is necessary). Use a sprayer with a 1/16“‘ tip. Adjust pressure to apply the amount per acre. Apply the gel (slurry) to the the seed. This method is very useful when soil moisture is marginal at the time of planting.
NURSERY BEDS: Blend in 2 pounds of MP 5 per cubic yard of soil mix
SHRUBS & TREES: Blend into the backfill at the rate of 1 ounce per foot diameter of the hole. Reduce application rate
proportionately for smaller holes.
CITRUS: Blend into the backfill at the rate of 3 tablespoons per tree.
BARE ROOT SEEDLINGS: Mix with water to produce a thin slurry. Dip roots at time of digging from bed, before transplanting.

Making SOD: Before laying sod distribute 10 pounds of MP 5 and 20 pounds of AG SORB flakes
per acre and work into top 2 inches of soil. Heavily lay sod and water immediately.

If there is no rain, water again every 7 days for one month. This is necessary to insure that the sod is well established.

For ORCHARDS:

Large trees: punch or drill 4 holes an equal distance apart halfway between trunk and
edge of tree span. Be sure that the application is deep enough to reach the middle of the root mass. Place
one tablespoon full in each hole. This will revive even old marginal trees, producing new growth and good improved fruit production.

Young trees: Repeat the procedure above yearly.

CAUTION: Fertilizer should be reduced 25% on sandy soil and up to 50% on clay souls
CONTENTS: AG-SORB flakes, humic acid, plus a blend of 14 non toxic natural occurring microbes and enzymes.
