AQ-3 is a complete water treatment that is safe to handle and to the environment. Available are natural compounds to extract ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, phosphates and toxic chemicals from the water. Algae does not live without nutrients. A blend of specially selected microbes are added to completely scarify the water of nutrients, and to eliminate the possibility of diseases from
developing within the water. The bottom of ponds and lakes is the major cause of algae and odors. Another major cause is run off of fertilizer. Microbes are also used to digest organic material such as dead algae and leaves to prevent rotting material from creating odors and more nutrients within the water.

Caution should be exercised in using this product. Since it will remove the nitrates from water, if too much is used the AQ-3 will also remove the nitrates from the soil in the bottom of the water, thereby starving the existing aquatic plant life. Should you spill any of the products while handling, there is no danger of killing the grass. The microbes are actually beneficial to grass and other plants when the treated water is used for irrigation. Water will dissolve 44 different minerals and chemical compounds, therefore we have variables from one body of water to another even within a short distance from one another. In most cases it is best for a trained technician to evaluate the needs of your water and treatment necessary to maintain the control you desire.
Order of consideration, is water toxic from runoff or chemicals added in last year, condition of bottom and identification of problem species. If a trained technician is not available the water samples should be taken to be analyzed at a laboratory.
